The short version: you can play Percentle without an account and without telling us who you are. Playing requires no name, no email, and no password.
Playing the game collects no names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, precise location, contacts, or advertising IDs. We do not sell data. There is currently no advertising in the game. If advertising is ever added to cover running costs, the aim is a single, clearly labeled, closeable ad on the results screen, of the contextual kind that is based on the page rather than on you, and this policy will be updated first.
Your guesses, streaks, and settings are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device. Clearing browser data removes them.
To power crowd stats and optional sync codes, the game stores a randomly generated player ID together with day numbers, scores, guess counts, and timestamps. This ID is not linked to your name or identity. Sync codes are one-time codes that expire after 15 minutes.
The site is served by Cloudflare and scores are stored with Supabase. Like every web service, they process IP addresses transiently in server logs to deliver the site and prevent abuse; we do not use them to identify players. We use Cloudflare's cookie-free analytics to count visits; it does not profile you or track you across sites.
Percentle is a general-audience game and knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy from time to time as the game evolves, for example if optional accounts, profiles, or advertising are added in the future. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date above, before they take effect.
